How to Find NGO Jobs in Pakistan: Opportunity for the Youth
Pakistan is a developing country and most of its population is young. As Pakistan is blessed with all kinds of resources but still unemployment rate is very high due to the large population and due to the poor management, its youth wants many job opportunities in Pakistan. These days government cannot fulfill the basic needs of every citizen. Therefore, along with the government, there are nongovernmental organizations, which work voluntarily for the development of Pakistan and these organizations are commonly known as NGOs. Telecom sector, NGOs, construction sector and the banking sector are the fastest growing sectors which are creating job opportunities in Pakistan.
In Pakistan NGOs are working since its independence in 1947. Generally, NGOs work for the rehabilitation and social welfare of the poor communities. It is one of the most growing sectors in Pakistan, which creates awareness among communities and also create job opportunities in Pakistan.
Some NGOs in Pakistan are playing an important role in creating awareness on issues like:
- Human and legal rights
- Health
- Education
- Women development
- Youth Development
- Community Development
- Overpopulation
- Water and Sanitation
According to the recent statistics of government of Pakistan, currently more than one hundred thousand (100,000) nongovernmental organizations are operational; which is quite a big number and is increasing very rapidly that is why; there are a lot of NGO jobs in Pakistan. Some NGOs are local and some are international, but their goals are same, and they are funded by the local government and different international and local organizations. Most of the NGOs are funded by World Bank, United Nation, Asian development Bank etc.
Due to the large number of nongovernmental organizations, NGO jobs in Pakistan are preferred by the fresh graduates and youth. Different NGOs offer internships to the students from different educational backgrounds to work on different projects and some of them are hired in the end, depending on their performance and dedication. Some people work voluntary in the NGOs to help and contribute in the development of different communities.
