I know that without meeting you or talking to you, surprised? Don’t be this is what happens when somebody views your CV. Your CV and you, both are not different entities. Before you reach for an interview or in case of a walk-in interview when you present your CV the viewer makes good or bad impression about your personality. This impression follows until your final evaluation for the job. If you impress the evaluator with your CV, chances are good to get hired and vice verse.
There are certainly some rules some tricks involved in making big impression through your CV. There are plenty of software available in the market for writing CV, but I will suggest not following them as they are not you. Only one can tell in a better way about him or her. During my 12 years of professional life, I have learned following steps are the most important and must be followed in writing professional CV. If you want to find a job of your dreams then must follow the mentioned tips that will make your job hunt easier.
Steps to follow: Follow the given sequence for writing CV because this is how the evaluator likes to read;
1. Objective: Employer is more interested to know your vision, as he has to match your vision with the organization’s vision. Objective is the reason of your professional career this is why you opt to join an organization. You should make a mind set before jotting it on the paper.
2. Your earned experience: After matching your objective with an organization the evaluator now looks for your experience as he has to know you what are you capable of and what companies you have worked for. This is very important as if you have worked in a multinational company with better goodwill than you have earned the respect in the eyes of an evaluator. He will have in a subconscious that you have good knowledge as you were hired by some good organizations.
3. Special projects or assignments: Remember a professional employer will like to see if you have achieved something in your professional or educational career. This will give you edge over other candidates. As if you have performed some out of box job. This is also helpful in communicating that what you have done during your educational period.
4. Your qualification: This is the right time to tell evaluator about your qualification.
5. Areas of Interest: you should mention your area of interest by keeping your job description.
6. Think according to evaluator:
Your professional resume should be according to your job nature. When ever you are building a professional C.V try to avoid adding the unnecessary things.
7. Make big impression:
Your Resume should contain the useful and appropriate material like your experience, your goals and other important stuff then it’s your C.V big impression.
