5- Important paradigms to be successful in your job search!
Today is very special for you if you got a call for interview. Good luck for your interview but I will suggest you to go through following information before going for the interview as it will increase chances of getting the job successfully. But before going through rest of the tips my first suggestion and most important of all is “always wear a smile”. It will always leave a good impression on the interviewer in both the cases of either you get the job or not. You have to believe in yourself about your potential and abilities. When you will apply for any job, these 5 major paradigms are a guarantee of getting you good Pakistan jobs, like jobs in Lahore, jobs in Karachi, jobs in Islamabad and in other cities of Pakistan as well as outside Pakistan.
1. Show your concern:
It is always good to research about the company you are going for interview. It will not only give you buoyancy to talk about company but at the same time the interviewer will get the impression that you have a good concern for the company. For research about the company it is always good to visit company’s website, as it gives the exact information about the company. Once you have gathered information about the company, you should move further for gathering some stats about the whole industry to which the company belongs. Here it does not mean that you gather information more then what is needed, as it may perplex you sometimes so, be specific and collect only the information that you can take up and digest.
2. Discover what makes you ‘the’ best candidate for the job?
Interviewers have many options for their company in regards of filling up the vacancy that you also applied for so, why you? Think about yourself and come up with some strong answers as you are the best judge of your personality and character. Mostly people forget that the objective they have written on their resume is the perfect answer to this question. Here you may say that as “I have mentioned in my resume objective….” This will not only make interviewers read through your resume again as well as find interesting information on the CV, if they have left something behind. This will also make you different from others.
3. First Impression is the last impression
Make first impression in a perfect manner as it is said mostly that the interviewer decides in first 7 to 10 seconds whether you are selected or not. It starts from entering the door of the interviewer room till you say hello and sit. The most important of all these is your dress. If you are wearing a pleasant looking dress with a good aura, it will leave a good impact about your personality on the company officials. The interviewer will have to give you a chance for selection. While choosing a dress, the first thing to keep in mind is the season. If it is summers and you are wearing very dark colors vice versa, then it will not be wise idea.
4. Behave like a professional
Showing professional and well mannered Etiquettes. They count well in your interview. You should know that the Etiquettes are always important in your job interview because you are the one whose every movement is being observed during the interview. It can be a single person taking the interview or a panel of interviewers. Always avoid interrupting the interviewer while he is talking to you.
5. Ask questions from the interviewer
This will show your confidence to the interviewer that you are not like most of other candidates as mostly people hesitate to ask questions from the interviewers. If hesitation is not the reason, then lack of knowledge about the organization is quite surely a reason. As I have suggested you to research about the company it will help you to come up with some questions about the company. But don’t turn the table around and start interviewing the interviewer.
